On Tuesday 9th April, the AS Biology class travelled to Ely Forest, Enniskillen, to carry out a range of sampling techniques in both coniferous and deciduous woodland areas as part of their fieldwork studies. The students were able to measure a range of abiotic and biotic factors and used the data collected to compare the range of plant species present across the two woodland areas. Many thanks to Mark from Field Studies Ireland who facilitated a fantastic trip.
