House Trip 2019

This year saw the introduction of a brand new positive achievement award – The Senior House Cup, kindly sponsored by 9th Avenue. Crevenagh House were the first winners, receiving the most positive points at the end of the school year.

Pupils with no behaviour points throughout the year were awarded with a trip to 9th Avenue Pizza Parlour to celebrate their positive contribution to school life and to officially unveil the new cup.

Senior House Trip

On Tuesday 18 June the winning year 12 house group (Crevenagh) were fortunate to have the opportunity to go to the Brunswick Centre in Londonderry as our reward. Our action packed day began by us watching the new Men In Black International film which we all thoroughly enjoyed before being treated to lunch at the venue which was very tasty.

After our meal we were ready for some bowling action. It turned out to be a very competitive game in our group which anyone could have won. However, after a few consecutive strikes from Kyle McKernaghan the competition was blown away and Kyle was the winner.

Our house group had a really great day out and we would like to thank Mrs Archibald and Mr Rennie for taking us on our trip.

Years 8 – 11 House Trip

Pupils in Crevenagh House in Years 8-11 were also treated to a fabulous day out as winners of this year’s annual House Competition.

Pupils thoroughly enjoyed having fun with their friends, watching The Secret Life of Pets 2 and ten-pin bowling as their rewards for being the House with the most positive achievement points throughout the year.

Pupils were exceptionally well behaved on both House Trips and the staff of Brunswick Moviebowl took the opportunity to commend our pupils by sending a special message to school to acknowledge the courteous manner of our pupils.

Special thanks go to Mrs Quinn for organising this year’s House Trip and to all the staff who accompanied the pupils on the day.
