SIMS Parent App

In order to make it as easy as possible for you as parents/carers to access information relating to your child/children in a convenient way we use the SIMS Parent App at Omagh High School. SIMS Parent app works to effectively bridge the parent-teacher-student communication gap, improving academic achievement and supporting student wellbeing.

ADVANTAGES FOR YOU AS A PARENT/CARER OF USING SIMS PARENT APP

You will have access to:

​

  • Important information such as attendance, timetable, achievement and behaviour records

  • Your child’s school report. Paper copies of school reports are no longer provided.

  • School term dates

  • Notifications about key information such as key dates for your diary

  • Update your contact details, so we always have the most up-to-date information in case of an emergency

GETTING STARTED WITH THE SIMS APP

​

  1. We will send you an activation email, simply click on the link from your smartphone, tablet, PC to activate your account.

  2. You will be asked to enter a date of birth as part of the activation process – please note you need to enter your child’s date of birth.

  3. You can then login using your normal Facebook, Twitter, Google or Microsoft username and password. (Please do not use the SIMS ID option)

  4. From your smartphone or tablet, download the app from the Google Play or Apple App store – search for SIMS Parent.

  5. From a PC or Windows phone, login online at www.sims-parent.co.uk
