Science

Aims

Pupils entering our KS3 will be provided with enjoyable and challenging learning experiences which are achievable and motivating.

Our pupils have their capabilities recognised in all classes and are encouraged to become aware of the wider world, to develop independence and make informed judgements and responsible decisions relating to their own lives and their relationship with others.

Our KS4 and KS5 students are guided to express their own individual needs and to make informed choices and decisions.

The vocational dimension is considered through recognition and application of work related skills and personal qualities, interests and abilities.

The Science Department will continue to strive to achieve excellent results for all its pupils in public examinations.
