Annual Charity Horse Show

Final preparations are under way for what promises to be another action packed and exciting day at Omagh High School’s Annual Charity Horse Show on Thursday 1st October 2026 in Ecclesville Equestrian Centre, Fintona. 

A special thanks must go to Anna Friel, judge, and Raymond Caldwell, course builder, as well as to our local businesses including

Omagh Equestrian, Blue Frog Shavings & Delta Health & Performance who have generously sponsored prizes for the classes.  In addition, perpetual cups and shields will be awarded in each class.

Proceeds from the day will go to Omagh Riding for Disabled Association, helping to support the development of its existing facilities and enabling the organisation to continue its valuable work with young people from the local area.

Team entries close on Friday 25th September while all other entries may be made on the day.  

Classes:

Starter Stakes – Led and Unled

Newcomers – 45cm

Novice – 60cm

Ride and Run Novelty Class (max height 60cm)

70cm One Round Speed Class

School Team Showjumping – Novice Team and Individual (65 - 75cm)

School Team Showjumping – Open Team and Individual (85 - 95cm)

Individual Open 1 metre

Please note

Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 8 are open to all competitors, including the general public, of any age.

Competitors (riders) in classes 7 and 8 MAY NOT compete in classes 1,2,3,5 or 6. They may, however, compete in class 4.
