Farm Tour at AFBI Hillsborough

On Wednesday 1st October, our Year 12 GCSE Agriculture & Land Use class had the exciting opportunity to attend a Schools Open Day at the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) Hillsborough.

Students explored key areas of modern farming, including soil health, grassland management, and anaerobic digestion. They also got valuable insights into dairy production, as well as pig and poultry systems.

A fantastic hands-on learning experience that brought classroom theory to life!
