Topping Out Ceremony

We were delighted to mark a significant milestone in the development of Omagh High School with the recent topping out ceremony of our new school building.

The event was attended by Principal Mr C Gaitatzis, pupils, contractors, and special guests.

We were especially honoured that the topping out ceremony was completed by Desmond Scott, a past pupil of Omagh High School and Founder and Chairman of Scott & Ewing Ltd and Woodvale Construction Company Ltd. It was a proud moment to see a former student play such a key role in this important stage of the school’s development.

This milestone marks significant progress in the build, representing both how far the project has come and the exciting journey still ahead. It also reflects our continued commitment to providing excellent facilities for our pupils and wider school community. We look forward with great anticipation to the completion of this project and the opportunities it will bring for future generations.
