U14 Hockey Match Report

Our U14 Hockey Team played their first league fixture of the season against Omagh Academy, delivering an impressive performance throughout.

A closely contested first half saw both teams create excellent scoring opportunities, while strong defensive displays from Lena W, Lily-Anne F, Lexi A, Rose D and Kaci-Leigh I ensured the score remained 0-0 at the break.

Omagh High looked dangerous going forward, with Codi G creating several promising attacks down the right wing. Despite creating some excellent chances, the team were unfortunate not to find the back of the net.

Omagh Academy continued to press in the second half and eventually scored late in the game, resulting in a narrow 1-0 defeat for Omagh High.

A fantastic effort from a very young team, with plenty of positives to take forward for the rest of the season.
