On Monday 21st September, our Year 13 and 14 Buddies hosted a welcome event for Year 8 pupils in the canteen. The event gave our newest students the opportunity to meet their assigned buddy and begin building positive relationships for the year ahead.
Through a variety of fun and interactive games and activities, Year 8 pupils and their buddies got to know one another in a relaxed and supportive environment. The event was a great success, enjoyed by all involved, and helped our Year 8 students feel more confident, supported and settled as they begin their journey at Omagh High School.
A big thank you to our Year 13 and 14 Buddies for their enthusiasm, leadership and commitment to helping our new students feel welcome.
