Parents and carers are being invited to attend a series of information sessions about the Strule Shared Education Campus , taking place on Tuesday 17 th  February  at the Silverbirch Hotel . The sessions will provide the opportunity to find out more about the Strule campus, ask questions, and view the floor plans for each of the schools and shared buildings that will be based on the campus. The WHSS visited our Year 10 pupils to deliver an important session on healthy relationships. The workshop was engaging, informative, and incredibly valuable for everyone involved. Thank‑you to WHSS for supporting our pupils with such an important topic.

We were delighted to welcome students from Augher Central PS, Carntall PS, Langfield PS, and Kesh PS for a fun-filled taster day at Omagh High School.  We hope you all had an amazing time exploring everything we have to offer!

Our Scripture Union group had a wonderful time spreading Christmas cheer at Hillcrest Care Facility! 🎄❤️  We sang carols, shared some festive favourites, and ended with a lovely rendition of Auld Lang Syne.  Thank you so much for having us!

What a wonderful Christmas Carol Service we had! 🎶✨ From musical performances to thoughtful readings, our students reminded us of the true message of Christmas. Thank you to 1st Omagh Presbyterian for welcoming us and to Mr Rennie, Miss Smith, Mr Linton and all other staff for making everything run so smoothly…and thank you to all of our wonderful participants! 🌟  Our pupils were a credit to the school with their outstanding behaviour throughout. They competed in the Tyrone & Fermanagh Shield Finals on Friday 28th Nov and Monday 1st Dec, showing off amazing skills and true competitive spirit. Both teams brought home bronze medals.

Our HE Cookery Club has been busy all November, finishing off with a festive afternoon of baking fun! Pupils created brilliant Christmas-themed treats, from reindeer to cake pops to snowmen.

Our U14B Hockey Team put in a fantastic performance against Omagh Academy on Monday! 🏑 Great teamwork, impressive skill, and some brilliant saves from our keeper Grace A. Despite conceding two early goals, the match was evenly contested, and we were unlucky not to put away a few of our chances.  Well done! 🌟

On Wednesday 19th November, Omagh High School made the trip to Limavady High School to play their final group stage game in Pool 5. The boys played some excellent rugby in the first half, taking them into a commanding position going into the second period.   The game followed a similar pattern in the second half, with OHS being extremely dominant in all departments and eventually winning the game 43-0.   This was a terrific team performance in some difficult conditions.
